\nTomi Ungerer, born Jean-Thomas Ungerer on November 28, 1931 in Strasbourg and died on February 9, 2019 in Cork, Ireland, is a French painter, draftsman, illustrator and author.

\nConsidered one of the most brilliant designers of his generation, since 1957 he has had an international career in many areas of graphic art.
